Author Debby Irving to Speak in Minneapolis

Trio’s best-selling author Debby Irving will be leading conversations about racial justice at First Universalist Church in Minneapolis on November 3 and 6.

WUW-Cover-FrontThe author of Waking Up White, and Finding Myself in the Story of Race (Elephant Room Press, 2014), which debuted on the Boston Globe best-seller list in spring 2014, will talk about her book and her evolution as an anti-racist advocate.

On Tuesday, November 3, people who have read her book are invited to discuss it with her beginning at 7 pm. On Friday, November 6, at 7 pm, everyone is welcome to join Debby in a discussion of racial justice, current events in America, and how to create a better tomorrow.

Both events, which are free to attend, will be held at First Universalist Church, 3400 Dupont Ave. S., Minneapolis.
